A collaboration with Carl Purdy who did the blasting and finished the bowl. Hand cut acrylic stem with a copper sleeve.
This was another collaboration with Carl Purdy of South Carolina who did the sand blasting and staining of this pipe. Stem was made from pearl white Inlace Acrylester with a tortoise shell ring. Click images for a larger picture.
Made from another of the Sparta blocks. The block was huge and would have made a nice large canadian but I was going for a Prince and shortened it. The white extension is attached to the stem and is made of deer antler. Stem is vulcanite. I used the Ajustomatic parts from a Grabow so that a filter could be used.
Bent Billiard, first pipe of 2012. Made from one of the pre-drilled blocks I got at the DG factory. The stand was made from a scrap piece cut from the block.
Churchwarden and stand.
This one I made for myself. It has a "Marine Blue" Cumberland stem with an inlay made of "Black and White" Ebony. This is the first stem with this type of inlay I have made. I smoke mostly straight pipes and like a sitter.
